Streambox Media is a personal media-server setup operated by its owner. This policy describes its intended Google Drive integration.
The application uses Google OAuth authorization and rclone to read file contents and metadata, upload media, and organize, rename or delete files in accounts authorized by the owner. Its media pool uses dedicated folders. The requested Drive permission can allow access beyond those folders; folder selection is an application configuration rather than an OAuth permission boundary.
Authorization tokens are stored in access-restricted configuration files on the owner's server. Media remains in the owner's Google Drive accounts, with local server caching for uploads and playback. Plex, Jellyfin and media-management applications process media and metadata according to their own configurations.
The Google Drive integration does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Media and metadata may be served to users whom the owner authorizes through the media-server applications. Data is transmitted to Google as needed for Drive operations.
The owner can revoke the application's access through Google Account security settings, remove server authorization files, and manage or delete media and local caches. Revoking access does not automatically delete files stored in Google Drive.
For questions, use the support email displayed on the application's Google consent screen.
